  • 2020 Vision Meeting

Vision 2020 meeting Sunday Jan 5th 5:15pm all Church Leaders invited.

I presented this Sunday night.  Next Sunday, I want the Church to share with me what you want to accomplish in 2020.

How do we make these good thoughts into practical realities.

Ideas to begin conversation for Themes, emphasis and actions for 2020

    1. Jesus is Lord.   Jesus is the Head of the Church.

It his Church.  It is his tithe.  It is his building.  Collectively we will all work together to figure out what we should do for the Kingdom.

    Ephesians 1:22, Ephesians 5:23,  Colossians 2:10, 1 Peter 5:3-6

    2. Revitalization includes revival.   Church revival begins with personal revival.

God wants you to have peace and be fulfilled in your Christian experience

    II Chronicles 7:14 ,  Psalm 85:6 , II Timothy 2:24-26

    3. Being Faithful first with the ministry God has given us.   Our Church has a majority of Senior adults and empty nesters.  We are going to start 2020 by being the best Senior Adult Ministry we can be.  We hope to be a place for every Senior adult in Benton County that doesn't currently have a Church home to be able to call home.

     Leviticus 19:32, Timothy 5:1-3

    4.  If we are faithful with the territory that God has given us then HE will expand our territory in his time.    Undernourished neglected sheep do not produce.    Shepherds don't produce sheep.  Healthy sheep produce sheep.    We will feed our sheep and keep our eyes open for other areas that we can join God in what he is doing.

    1 Chronicles 4:10

    5. God's people want to invest their resources in a Church that is making a difference for the kingdom of Jesus Christ.    We want to continue to be transparent and give all of our Church family the confidence that we are being good stewards of ALL of God's resources.  Kingdom thinking.

    Matthew 6:10,  Hebrews 12:28

    6.  We want a healthy balance of ministering to the Church Family and the Community.

    Matthew 28:19
